i love the range of colors in this picture. Did you use a filter? Possibly a polarizer?
Anywho this shot is just stunning. The use of a border makes this picture look more professional and helps out. The fluffy clouds make it look almost dream making you imagine about the times when you used to fly in the sky when we were all little. Instead of being slammed into the reality of it all.
wow a awesome photo.. i love the composition [as described in the recent *photo-class tutorial, which is where i learned about your photos..]
and very nice colors and lighting.. the foreground feels very soft but is fully in focus.. something about the light..
anyways a great photo youve got here
That's incredible. It doesnt look real, more like a painting or digital rendering. More like digital. The colors or so rich. You took an already amazing scene and made it better with such a creative angle. Very nice.
What an absolutely gorgeous shot! I am so envious of you. Norway is my favortie country. I've never been there, but I've tried to read and view as many photos as I can, about it. I'll be keeping an eye on your site. Thanks for sharing the fantasic views of your country with us.
my oh my!!! now THISSSSSSSS is a capture! I love the composition - the way everything kinda folds together. Love the wispy clouds and the way the light and color is playing with them. Really pure blue that just oozes sex appeal (remember - landscape photographer speaking ) Love that bright yellow - really sets off the photo. The land itself just begs for a photo to be taken - perfect scene - and perfectly taken.
North-Vest coast mid-Norway, Sunnmøre, not so far from Ålesund. There's a string of islands just north-west of the city, this is shot on a location on one of them.
I shoot all my pictures in RAW format, that means that post pro is actually mandatory. Post pro for this image consists of dynamically equalizing the picture to enhance light on ground part of the image without losing details in the sky (Basically just light and contrast adjustments separately done for sky and ground). As you may know, digital cameras, especially, have a problem with capturing these types of pictures without either overexpose the sky, or underexpose the ground.
